Never had a problem with my bosch cordless tools. Yes they're a bit weak compared to some of the newer brushless stuff but over the last 3 years never failed me and they get abused quiet badly.
I recall I helping someone with a pergola project recently his circular saw, brushless, was playing up even though brand new. It was red so could have been Hilti but it think its was Milwakee. It just would cut out and not want to work, then come back to life half an hour later only to cut out again.

Run a bit of Hilti mainly breakers but they know how to charge! Te56 te78 etc snd bigger 1000 breaker but just bought this DEWALT sds max flexvolt drill/breaker what a weapon.
thought my £450 Hilti 55mm breach bit would be enough to get me through wall but only 600mm long so had to buy this big bosh 1m one to get through.

what generation of bosch stuff do you run .... got 3 or 4 drills chargers and deceased batteries here .... i was going to chuck them .... you're welcome to 'em if they're any use, but they are .. going back a bit

that's a weapon @Giles ..... got a Spit here that'll run that sort of stuff and a lot of gear to go with it, up to about 5" ....... but it's 110V

With the 9ah flex volt which is actually 3ah at 54v I got about 15 mins off 1 battery but wasn’t full on as was trying to get through this. And drilled a bit. Got 6 of the 9ah flexvolt and 10x of the 6ah ones. A 12ah be good for it. Still got my 110v hilti if power available but no cord is a dream and working in middle no where not having to take genny is god send
Been using it today on 120m long site gulleys every 16m changeing the lids to dished from flat so we can add dished channel in middle. Labourer 1 ahead knocking the concrete off them, no problem. He did 6 gulleys on 1 full 9ah

That's very good of you, I have the lithium 18v batteries. Fairly modern I would say. Brilliant bit of kit. I use for core drilling for retaining walls and as a breaker good for nibbling away small bits of concrete, drills into masonry like a hot knife through butter!

We currently carry a generator everywhere. Just for powering an SDS max for breaking into gulley pots for new connections.
Would prefer the JCB hydraulic one but dont think the boss will stretch to that at £1500+vat but he might stretch to battery power

It was nearly £1k for battery one, got beaver pack and they do hit hard but big to carry Rd and only good for road breaking as breakers are heavy!

We carry a beaver pack at all times any way with the standard road breaker. JCB do a mini handheld gun with a d handle but never come up second hand unfortunately.
Trying to find ways to compact kit down as we are running out of space to carry everything.
