HILTI 110v equipment

Hi All, I have over 30no Hilti products all 110v for my company. Most of my kit is old but very very good kit.
Im sick of dealing with Hilti for service/repair work.
Is there anyone out there that service and repairs Hilti products other than Hilti themselves. So bloody expensive now and such hassle to deal with too.
Ideally in the Birmingham area ?

if you find some one let me know ..... have a lovely TE17 in need of brushes ...... Hilti do not support anything over 10 yrs old and their tools last a lot longer than that .... TE17 was best hammer drill they ever made IMHDO

So, this week got a brand new hilti TE60 masonry drill, took it out to job today and what a POS kept cutting out and had to unplug and replug to clear then the red spanner light came on and wouldn't clear for 15 mins. Had to go down the road to hire shop and get a hire machine to finish the job. Anyone else have bother with new hilti gear?

nope just old, pristine Hilti gear that they no longer support, spares - wise
which is why i'll never have issues with their new gear ...... won't buy their gear again

But hence service should be second to none ...I mean every now again you get a lemon but that sounds crap on a new tool

Mate has their petrol cut off saw, it's had at least three issues with a spring failing resulting in the saw being unusable. They collect same/next day and it's back a day after that but means he has had to keep his old trusty ts400 as a back up

Have you tried aftermarket brushes? There's. Bloke we use who does all sorts.

would be really interested in a link/contact LL ... I miss my TE17 ... have never found anyone offering 'em, to fit it, aftermarket

to repair a breaker once i bought bigger brushes ,filed them down and soldered them to the carrier ,can you not ?

It's a while since i last looked at it Bob so'd have to get it out and have a shufty as to what the exact issue was/is ..... IIRC I have tried 'creating' some in the past - unsuccessfully
