Yeah, but not at parts manger level. Maybe workshop skivvy until you know a hydraulic filter from a pough bolt.
It's worse when you start getting to salesman level.

I started in the trade green in 2007 . Had zero experience and was a sales guy for watling jcb.. I have also just taken in a sales guy myself to help find kit etc and hes green too. Have to let young blood and fresh blood into the industry .

Yeah I’d agree plough bolt basically a countersunk head with a coach bolt square shank if that makes sense?think it might be a plough bolt

...... Ruben and the delightful Mrs Doobin have broken bread at Chez Druid on a couple of occasions with Pam and I ....think they like Druidland
.....we didn't 'expose' them to any Welsh cakes though
.. none in stock at the time ...... but Pam's baking is always a winner with visitors ..... funny story on their last visit .... we're all sat in the kitchen scoffing, yapping and Ruben'd got his - bugger can't recall the name of the instrument ... cross between a banjo and a guitar - it'll come to me -- out .... when this bloody rat appeared from under a kitchen cabinet/unit
... couldn't believe it ... Ruben jumped up in a flash and is pursuing the bloody thing round the kitchen floor with the first thing that came to hand -- a S/steel egg slice ... I wish I 'd had a camera .......I then spent the next two days securing/covering/filling/blocking every opening in the kitchen, under/behind the damned units .... (you know what kitchen fitters are like for leaving gaps) ...... bar one ... the little barsteward was going to have to re-appear from there ....... and I had the sod about three days after that - stamped on his head, when he foolishly stuck it out at the wrong moment ... could not ****ing believe this thing appearing, that day, calm as you like
.......... was bloody funny though
