Help with removing an old thread

Hi
I hope someone can help me.
Last year my husband joined Plant Talk and put a thread on for his old JCB he wanted to sell as he did not use it anylonger and it had been left standing in the field.
We would like to aplogise to anyone who replyed to his thread and received no reply.
The reason being that shortly after putting the thread on Plant Talk my husband had a stroke whilst he was climbing down the ladder following repairing the roof on a three storey house.
Richard has now improved a little although he will never be the same very strong working man he was prior to the stroke.
He thinks he will be able to show possible buyers the JCB although the stroke has left him with some problems which will be obvious, one of them being that he is now deaf in one ear so he finds it hard to hear on the telephone.
I have been trying to remove the old thread for the JCB for him as some details in it are wrong and replace it with a new thread showing the JCB for sale again with extra photo's of the engine and the correct written details but I cannot find anywhere to cancel the old thread can anyone help me please???
Our email is [email protected].
I would appreciate anyone who could help me with this and if so thank you in advance Kind Regards Marilyn

Hi Marilyn ... as you'll see in the below post quotes, I had a friend who was VERY interested in the machine - I'll forward your email to him but if you PM (private message) me a number I'm sure he'd give you a call .. Hope Richard is doing well (y)
I sent a link to this to a mate last night who was very interested @Housebuilder ... you may well get a call from Simon Lewis, if you can PM me a number he can reach you on to discuss it .... like me , he just has to figure out how he'll hide any new arrival from his missus :ROFLMAO:

I asked him for a phone number for Simon ... he's well up for it -- no response :mad:

My mate Simon Lewis, who expressed more than a passing interest in it, when I pointed it out to him last time it was advertised, said rare as hen's teeth .. only ever seen one other and he really knows his old jakes - has rebuilt a few - I used to make him bits for them - doors/bonnets/misc. panels
