Just check that rear hub seal cos the inside of the wheel looks black with oil residue.
I meant to mention that it is leaking, they are going to have a look at it before the machine leaves the workshop but didn't garantee that they would fix it.
What is involved in fixing? Also how do you top up the oil in there?

Level plug for top up on hub face. Mine has one that leaks jcb fitter has done seals twice its not as bad as it was but still leaks a little. I just check level regular. I guess it's fairly common when you see how much use the fitters bearing puller had seen

Is there a breather on them? My merlo leaked in the same way when hot, turned out the breather was blocked.

Yeah there is a breather not the issue on mine but could cause it. I'd reckon if the breather had blocked it will still need seals done to stop the leak

hopefully the leak gets sorted before I receive delivery of the machine.
