Heated jackets

The wholesalers threw one in as part of a large order. Doesn't get that cold here but was awesome once working between two buildings with the cold wind howling through, and on those exposed building sites at smoko. Could be a good way to save on heating bills at home.

Are you lot working or standing around gossiping??
Never felt the need for a jacket when working, never mind a heated one 😁

The plant world has gone saft😝
Sat on a micro digger in winter is like sat on an ice cube.

Yes you get the blar blar blar comments about been sat ontop of an engine from the lads pushing barrows, but fuk me it's cold just sat on the digger, letalone when it's raining and your leg are wet through and your arse needs a snorkel to be able to fart. 🤪🤪

Doing a bit of woodland clearing between Christmas and New Year on the 1.7ton I had an old curtain wrapped round my legs, couldn't find anything else in the truck😆
The next day, in the shed looking for something else I found a pair of army surplus 'Softie' (synthetic down) trousers that I thought I'd binned years ago.
The shed is 200 yards from where I'd been working wrapped up in a sodding curtain 😆 🤣

A few years ago me and a mate bought the old guy we do a lot of work for a makita 18v heated jacket for Christmas. He was singing its praises, nice and warm etc. We asked him about the battery life or something, he said 'what do you mean battery? It's a coat?' 😆 🤣
Turns out it's even warmer if you put a battery in it 😆

I have a Keiss 12 volt heated jacket which is aimed at the motorcycle market. Exceptionally good to be able to plug in to a canopied digger if you are sat on one for long period. It doesn’t get a lot of use for me as I am hardly ever sat on the machine long enough to bother plugging it in.

weve the pulsars coverall suits for wet weather and pulsar big coats and bib and braces for serious cold days we have the dickies recovery suits in orange but needs to be -5 at least or you just sweat to much

we now also have the mascot overalls they are like shower proof etc but have them embroider up and just a bit more professional and you can take them off and not take all the filth in your car and house

Ive got a couple of sets of the older helly Hansen "waterproof" insulated bib and brace, they are decent but the reality when sat on the micro all the rain ends up on your lap so eventually makes it way in. One of the older ones is handy as it fully unzips on both sides, although one of the zips is bust but still velcros up so only used as a backup if the other set is soaked through.
Was thinking heated jacket would save layering up or having to layer down. Heater in the 8026 is pointless not just because of it's crappy position that only heats the back of your legs but always have the window up and door open

I have a pair of Masot trousers and they seem good so far - some fancy stretchy lightweight material - expensive compared to what I usually pay but much less restricted if your in n out of trenches etc
Never heard of them before.
