Thank you . Bit different to my vintage tractor forums where theres no humour at all . It is an hiab . I spent hours looking though google search . Some say hiab 125 but no specs , a newer hiad 125 is a 6 tonne machineunfortunately I don't recognise it either Bri ... can't be many with a ring gear and motor though - 's not a full 360 rotator either, like my Tico, with the rotary coupling down through the king post, or it'd kill the plumbing
... as for the " children " never had Rory down as a pedant
any man and his dog'd know that 'Hiab' is the generic go to name for loader cranes, much like JCB is for digger/excavators for a lot of folk
