Just put a container in for a lad at his dad's place ,running around 12 printers for the film industry, interesting lad ,these are interesting, bloke I worked for had a hobby room that had a line of bamboo printers on a bench.
he was making some containers and other pretty uninspiring things, can anyone convince me its worth 1300€ ? what have you made that it makes one worth the dosh ?
A mate worked at a pump place that had 'lots of everything, but no two the same.'what have you made that it makes one worth the dosh ?
And the minute you do some fooker will do it cheaper. You'd almost be having to supply and fit a broken part rather than selling the part / thingMy mate had one for selling crap on Etsy with , never took off… need to find a real handy thing you can make and undercut everyone with !
wall / under shelf brackets for spare batteries ... few about but pricey and no one does one to fit my Ferex batteries .. be real handy to keep them to hand and in cycle orderMy mate had one for selling crap on Etsy with , never took off… need to find a real handy thing you can make and undercut everyone with !
Model RC car parts .But what did someone make with a plastic 3d printer that made you want to rush out and buy onecan ai do the plans if you teach it ?
Josh is always making brackets, catches, etc., for his house projects and only has a cheapo thing - they are very clever for sureModel RC car parts .
Spool of of filament is a tenner. And chucks out goodness knows how many little brackets and suspension mods for him.
He's calculated how long till it's paid off ..and he's doing stuff for his mates.
Not really got my head round it all but is bl@@dy satisfying watching it chuck stuff out. Incredibly tough and high quality.
It's the convenience...we've all heard you arguing the toss of having a machine sat there rather than hiring...same principle
cool project c3-Frank-poI bought this as an early birthday/Christmas gift for myself:

And I want to build this tugboat model, where the plan is to 3D print
the superstructure and all the details—from window frames to railings, stairs, bollards, and winches—basically most or all of the ship's details.

The Bambu A1 and A2 are less than half the price, and from my experience using an A1, it has been faultless.Look up the Bambu labs h2s think im going h to go for one of those
Interesting thanks. The Bambu A1 and A2 are less than half the price, and from my experience using an A1, it has been faultless.
Having used the H2S at university, I wouldn't say the print quality was noticeably better despite the higher price. It obviously depends on what you want to print, but I've found the A1 to be more than capable for what I use it for.
The AMS units are nice to have, but if you mainly plan on printing in a single material, I don't think they're really necessary.
