He didn’t say he supported Putin.
My wife is Romanian and understands much more the Russian mindset. Ukraine wanting to head west was always going to end in tears.
As for the current state of the war we are being hoodwinked. Enough weapons to stop the Russians winning. But not enough to Dorsey it to end. Where is all the money going? The arms race is now simply ammunition manufacturing hiking prices on a scale of Covid PPE Mickey taking.

He is no doubt. But I think farage said what most of us think. Hes been looking for any excuse and EU/NATO expansion is just that.

What made me laugh was the "outrage" reported on BBC at Farage. One political journalist came on saying his comments would now deter many would be Reform voters. If I'm right this will only encourage the Reform voters as most of them probably agree with him anyway🤣

by the way things like the nhs arent underfunded,waste is enormous ,neither do they need to tax us more ,as the tax take has risen enormously

Mrs went into local drs for a jab other day, walked straight in and was out before her appointment time!! Waiting room completely empty….

I was the same afew months ago, but was a 6.30pm appointment.. had to wait 3 weeks for it though!

I think it very much depends on area. We have quite a large new medical centre in the village, and despite the odd day where they struggle with staffing (mostly seems to be receptionists not turning rather than a lack of health care staff) their service is exceptional. Same day appointments if you book before 9. No waiting list, the online form and telephone open at 8 for the days appointments. So you either get seen that day or the following. Minor problems are video chats or just through a messaging window on the website.
The other local one I was registered to before was the same, brilliant staff brilliant service. The only interaction I've had with the nearest hospital is when my kids where born and when my son had his tonsils out, again brilliant service and the wait list wasn't what I would call extravagant, think it was 3 months as it was considered a really low priority operation.
And we have NHS dentist with space on the list. Although wait times for that are long, about a month for an appointment. But better than nothing.

Our main hospital is a nightmare ..10 mins from me with the footdown...but wait for flippin hours to see anyone.
Yet I drive 40 mins out to another walk in place ..seen in 10 mins done and dusted in 25mins the other week. Luck of the postcode?

Lucky you. Been kicked off my Dentists NHS list. Had a regular check booked a few Febs ago. They cancelled it and said no longer could have me on their list. Apparently there isn't any NHS dental spaces left in Devon now.

That article is 10 years old.
10 years ago Little Britain was a comedy program that wasn’t deemed offensive (it was simply funny).
10 years ago anybody who was born into the wrong body would represent an infinitesimally small section of society.
10 years ago nobody had heard of Covid…
10 years ago barely anybody worked from home!
10 years ago woke didn’t exist.
Our country is absolutely knackered - there are hundreds of thousands (probably millions) of people working in jobs (within private companies, massive corporations, the civil service, the NHS etc) who are there simply to tick boxes, in roles that nobody had heard of 10 years ago. Sustainability officers, safeguarding teams, diversity managers, wellbeing delivery personnel etc ad-infintum - massive burdens on society insisted upon by the public sector, forced into privately owned companies and embraced and expanded upon by anything funded with taxpayers money. Any blue-haired-tattooed-faced-easily-offended-snowflake employed in one of these roles (particularly at a managerial level) seem able to tap into unlimited funding to expand their remit and strangle any sort of productivity at the delivery end of any organisation they are involved with.
When Starmer gets in this ridiculousness is going to carry on and almost definitely be expanded upon - we are in a world of s**t as ‘normal’ tax paying workers who actually do something quantifiable day to day, as we are the only ones actually paying for this crap!
