Im never sure this would come over right and I totally accept everybody’s opinion is different . It’s obvious via the total votes for labour is surprisingly isn’t much more than last time . It shows even the blues appreciate change is required. I won’t write anything else just I hope it works out the way you hope

Saw a poll of labour voters and 48% asked voted to remove the torys. A further 15% voted as they want change. Kind of undermines the whole system.

Wouldn't it be great if the bs and ego's stopped and they worked together to make a good country!

Would be really nice to disband political parties and all votes based on the individual candidates. Would require people becoming more informed before voting and hopefully a fairer representation in parliament.

The fact that Lib Dems got half a million less votes than Reform yet returned 71 MPs to Reform's 5 shows you that the system is totally and utterly broken. Only three countries in the world use first past the post. Until this is changed we will continue just to swing between red and blue, two cheeks of the same arse. Which is why I didn't bother voting- and it seems I'm not alone, with just 60% voter turnout.

But if we had a system such as that protesting votes like reform might not get such support where it actually matters.

Plenty wanted conservatives out but couldn’t bring themselves to vote labour, be interesting to see what kind of mps the reform lot are? Farage loves an expense claim so he’ll be free loading it up bet his will be 2m for staff offices etc be paying for reform growth

Your choice but I’m a firm believer if you didn’t vote you don’t get to moan about it, so many countries where ppl don’t get a free clear democratic vote it’s such a privilege we take for granted. Even America can’t conduct an election well lol

I voted reform and am happy to have donated £25 for a years membership. I simply believe in small state, small tax and make your own choices as I don’t ever see any government spending our tax money wisely or effectively.
We have the system that we have and I never expected to see reform won the number of seats that the Lib Dems would do with similar votes. My hope is that it forces the Conservative Party to review its offering and think again about how it has behaved in the last 5 years.
I am also an optimist. I hope that Kier Stammer keeps to his word that he will put Country before party.
He has a long 5 years to keep to his word!!

So our longstanding Tory candidate lost by 700 votes to labour ...reform got 8000 ....that's not a labour landslide .

Just say it ! I was pleased to see SNP get their arses whipped as they deserved that with some of the directions they took lately but labour in scotland will achieve nothing . My Reform candidate was the only one with a decent mandate.
This Labour victory is a mile wide but an inch deep.
When Boris won in 2019 Corbyn actually got a bigger percentage of the vote than Starmer got this time.
Reform needs to move quickly now to hoover up dejected tories and then start exposing this Labour
government for what it is !

In Telford Lab 45%, Reform 25%, Cons 21%. We both voted Reform to kick the Tories up the arse as they could not have won here this time anyway. I am hoping for a realignment on the Right as 21 + 25 = 46. I know it is not that simple but had the Tories actually done what they promised then it may have been a different story. The quality of life round here has dropped off a cliff over the time I have been able to drive a car. I am against uncontrolled self selecting mass immigration above all other things. What happened to the points & skills based OZ style system we were promised? Rwanda was already working as some were camping out in Ireland waiting & hoping for Starmer, another guy lurking in France said he would have stayed in his home country had he known of the Rwanda policy. At least Suella is still an MP as is Pritti Patel. The UK is the most over populated country in Europe - taken over from Holland.
Labour vote hardly grew, many Tories defected to Reform or just stayed at home. I am hoping for better in the long term but will be 68 by then so may not see it. I fully realized some Reform stuff was unaffordable but getting out of that Human rights act would not cost money. We were never told that if we joined it then it was a one way ticket.
Sinn Fein is now the largest party in NI - so I see a united Ireland on the cards. I think Scottish Independence is now unlikely. In a curious way both of these things help in getting out of that HCNR dictatorship.
