But if I`m parked up 200 miles from home, it would need one hell of an extension lead. :ROFLMAO:
In the truck it will generally run hard for 10-20 minutes, then drops to a tick over almost, to maintain the heat, and turns off if needed. I think they are 2 or 2.2kw and about 500ml an hour flat out, and about 120ml per hour to maintain, I would say about 2 quid if it was on all night
You will want to minimise the amount of tick over - they run much better/cleaner on full chat. Thats why better to buy smaller that works harder than a bigger one that ticks over. (Talking small pressure jet derv heaters)

I know a guy who runs 3 of these heaters and he says exactly the same thing. Running a small heater hard it keeps clean for ages. A big heater running on low heat very quickly gets full of carbon and cuts out until you strip it and clean it.

The only control you have is the thermostat, on these Esparcher`s they have a control unit box built in, that controls it all.

I've done a lot of looking into it now . I'd be quite happy with the vevor style heater but I can't find a flange to get the exhaust through the timber wall nicely . Any ideas?

I had seen this but it's not long enough. My wall make up is 235mm

I think I would core out a hole... use some steel tube with rockwool pipe insulation wrapped around it. Maybe some threaded steel water pipe 1" or whatever size you need with some flanges either end?
A bit overkill maybe but will certainly do the job in a professional manner with no risk of overheating any building surfaces.

Don’t forget a CO alarm and a smoke alarm that’s linked to your phone or the house.
Decent fire extinguishers I am sure you have in workshop already

Feel like I'm missing out now 🤣.

How long to get full heat blasting out?
Any smell?
30 to 45 seconds and no smell exhaust is the 22mm copper pipe to outside
Camper vans have them fitted for heat

I like the idea of this ! Is that rock wool like a fire blanket ? Would you just pass the exhaust through the flanges at each end and then seal around them somehow ?
