do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
just been down the village and derv is £1.85/L ... they're usually a couple of coppers dearer than town forecourts - but convenient (and local) ... don't mind a small premium to patronise them and have them there on a Sunday morning, etc. -- got a hell of a good little shop attached too, when you run out of summat. Most of our surrounding villages no longer have filling station, so I am glad you are supporting yours.

Trouble is those who are up to the hilt with borrowing fold up and the banks have to stand it so they take it from the rest of us.

Just sold an Ifor for 200 quid more than I paid for it 5 years ago. 😂😂
And I've found something under a hedge for Rory money so I'm happy 😍

Recession might not be just yet there's huge amount of cash locked up atm...and with Ukraine fiasco folk might not be keen flying etc so might be a while?🤷 But wheels have to come off before long l. Bank manager said today one customer has just sold a lambo urus for 45k more than he paid for it 9 months ago ...how is that sustainable 🙃

Money comes to the rich.. always been the same!
Am fully expecting a recession, just wait until interest rates go up and it annihilates the people who have a silly mortgage also - cars, sofa,tv,carpets, windows,Argos(all the crap they could genuinely do without for a while) all on finance!
It does need to stop, the crazy borrowing people do is insane, Klarna has a lot of answering for as well! Can’t afford it, don’t buy it!

I don't think HMRC will rush out to nail folk for using rebated fuel, they'll let them do it for a couple year until they get complacent and then swoop in an back date to the beginning of time for a good pay day

One thing, that always sticks out about the change from red diesel is the quote about reducing emissions. I can't see it, it's just a money grab.
There I no alternative that will magically change the emissions, hvo is expensive and can new machinery run it with no issues, many won't as cost is more than white.
Electric is pretty useless and you need two machines to the job of one diesel version and that's before you get the bill for two machines costing twice as much as the diesel version.
Could be a case when they see all these government contract/project fuel bills go through the roof that they might do a U turn
