The local pump prices didn't rise like the cards did last week, next week it may be buying on company card if the forecourts stay keen.
The Applegreen station was 177.8ppl on the forecourt yesterday, UKF revised this week's price, and just came slightly better than forecourts.

Ram the white tank at home dry this week. Filled the van in Tesco as couldn’t face the local pump price at £1.92!!
Half term for 2 weeks will slow the consumption of the digger so we’ll see what happens to the oil price for the start of the November as it may well head back down after this mini recovery in price due to OPEC.
We’ll be interesting to see how much heating oil is going to be as we head into getting cold season!!

Been trying to pick the right time to top up heating oil tank but price seems to be staying up consistently. Had a little win though, started a job digging out for extensions on a house at beginning of month which is getting a total refurb and oil heating not going back in. Customer asked if i knew of anyone who would empty oil tank. Funnily enough i did 800 litres of very reasonably priced oil not to missed.

all the dash tops went like this in the sun .. got a complete dash stashed somewhere ........... let huge quantities of spares go with my last Vitesse I sold ... I deffo have an original steery wheel .... I loved these cars .. a real, proper, driver's car

When down to the town before, forecourts have gone up to 181.9ppl, but it's still currently better than fuel cards.

I seem to recall the 4 series had a slight trailing steer system on the back end

don't think the 8,s did though

very SD-esque in the hatch version
driven a few but never owned one .. not a bad drive and the 825/7 had the Honda Legend V6 (made under license) in it .... lovely motor

The SD1 had a solid/one piece back axle, panhards and a long diff nose tied to the chassis, on coil springs ... for a tonne an' a half of motor I always found they handled exceptionally well - with practise .... and in comp. they held many TC titles

were great tow vehicles too

Near on 200 bhp in mid 1990s just a bit less than a sierra cosworth good for about 145mph. And 7 second zero to 60.

bought this in the summer to fiddle with over the winter. only v8 spitty in the UK, she now has wire wheels which are more in keeping. The rover v8 is an old one and toying with dropping in a newer tuned 3.9 lump...

Looks to have been well sorted I guess a downdraft carb good thing with the Rover v8 is the light weight and the exhaust note. I had a 3.5 s motor in a series 2a swb landie many years ago, any tuning parts back then were costly to say the least.

looks like an old rangey 8.13 motor ..... needs a late cross bolted vitesse, big valve, 9.75 lump, with flat top pistons installed, to get it to 10.5 and 200 donkeys, 'fore playing the silly cams game ...... but then it's gonna need a chassis to cope with it .. can get it to 230 ponies and still have a very drive-able motor, for not a lot, with a stage 2 cam.

I'd stick with the 3.5 block - bullet proof and can get a lot of donkeys out of 'em safely ...... the 3.9 was an over-bored 3.5 block and was / is a hand grenade with the pin out - bores split .... if you want to up the cubes - Buick crank and pistons to stroke it ...... the basic 3.5 block is a great start point, for all sorts

doesn't look to be enough room to go down the turbo route - the 8.13,s were ideal for it .... the Janspeeds were wickedly fast in the SD,s, but a much bigger engine bay to fit 'em into
can imagine that is an 'exciting drive' with the geometry on the arse of a spitty.
