Ford New Holland Hitachi & Kobelco backhoe loader control

Some time ago I think it may even have been on the old forum, There was breifly a mention of the front loader control and twist grip for the 4in1 front bucket, The Topic being how stiff it was to operate the 4in1 front bucket jaw control, My LB110 was really stiff so i decided to investigate. I have attatched a parts diagram for you to see. Basically the 4in1 jaw operation is done via two bell cranks, once I had the rubber gaitor up out of the way you can see the parts, if you remove the plastic trim it gives you much better access to get to everything including adjustment of the cable, I found that the top bell crank number 6 in the diagram

on my machine was siezed up. I removed it gave it a spray with plus gas and then took it apart cleaned it up and greased it up, reassembled everything and now it works as it should.

Yes its great stuff, They sell it at my local engineering company so whenever i am there i buy another can.

always been great stuff ..... discovered it in my early teens ... a mates dad swore by it ... and I have ever since ... harder to find than it used to be though, locally at least
