Which car park? Llyn Tegid (Bala) just had cameras in the last couple of weeks, but phone payment only.
Llanamon Show is in a neighboring village, always make me chuckle when I past the signs, to be fair the phone signal is poor there, for card payments, the show in our village is the same, the day before I could show marshals for the tractor run google maps, street view etc, show day with loads of people there no chance.

Had you come up the A5104 or the A494 to past the show signs?

Same here, also go for a coffee and they whip card machine out...crazy how it's the normal assumption of payment now.

Drove past the Llanarmon show signs yesterday (old pallets painted white) massive handwritten letters "cash only" then parked in car park down on lyn...with fancy cameras and anpr setup...but again cash only . Cash is alive and well in sheep country .

Bit of a joke running full data and cameras to a carpark but then not accepting card...might explain the empty carpark

Pam tried paying a car park in Monmouth with card a week or so back ... bloody thing kept going round in circles .. said " yers £2.50 - bang that in and to hell with the card " ... job done
she had three cancelled transaction receipts ... waiting on a statement

You must be loaded to stop at the Rhug and Card only so I don't go there
