Flail mower for 3 ton

I’m thinking of a flail for the 3 tonner, does anyone have any recommendations?

also has anyone used the slanetrac rotary type ones?

Haven't used one, but have seen one in action and it looked great.
Nice and simple to maintain and my understanding is the upright drive rather than drum drive is more efficient so will work better on a smaller machine.
I don't know how they compare in price, but should be cheaper given how much simpler they are.

Exac -1 sell osma flails which I think are really good. I’ve just replaced my TE -80 flail after 12 years of abuse with a new a month ago. They sell them with RM-7 flails but I’ve put RM-82 flails on & it’s a beast, direct drive motor so quick speed up after staling & doesn’t need a case drain. Green one is flail & blue one is fixed tooth tungsten carbide mulcher

That seems a lot to me for what is basically a hydraulic powered flymow, but everything seems expensive these days - it must be my age.

A local guy has one and I wouldn't be impressed by it, it throws stuff around much more than a flail

does it have a blade(s) or cables ...
have said before somewhere here ...
have a mate with a strimmer who uses IIRC 4mm s/steel cable instead of placcy cord ...
unstoppable and never replaced the cable ...
scaled up, hydraulically driven and properly shrouded, would imagine it'd be 'a weapon'

I'll second that Aiden, sold them for over 5 years now and not 1 warranty issue.
