I assume it’s a straightforward swap with the rubber? I’m on granite most of the the time and the rubbers get cut up pretty quick, so thinking about putting steels on my TB125.
Don’t see many steels on small machines these days.

Somebody asked the opposite the other day, swapping steel to rubber, they where advised to contact Evans and Reid. They reported back that they where helpful, The poster stayed with steel tracks, so Evans and Reid must do small steel tracks.
I`ve used them myself but for loader brackets, and found they to be helpful and good to deal with.

Just rang them, very helpful and reasonably priced IMO. Steels are twice the price of rubber- that doesn’t put me of but weight does a little purely as it will be over 3500kg on the trailer- but then added weight on the tracks is no bad thing for counterweight.

Yep I like steels but they would be hard work for me - bit off a ball ache on driveways and roads.
Not that the french over here care..... they think nowt of chopping the road up with grousers

To be fair steel tracked minis do far less damage than they do on larger machines

Yeah I have wide 550mm steels on my 5ton Kubota and they are surprisly kind to tarmac. Slightly white lines but that’s it. To be fair I never work on tarmac except when unloading a machine. Can’t beat a set of steels on for laying tracks.
