guys sorry if I open this discussion, by chance among us user friends there would be someone who has news and photos of the large excavators of the fiat group namely Fiat, Fiat allis, Fiat hitachi, fiat Kobelco and now new holland, from what I know they have never excavators weighing more than 50 tons were made, the first fiats were actually simits built by bruneri if I'm not mistaken, if you have chronological historical information on excavators and particular models I invite you to participate I believe that the Benati built by the accountant Bacchini of Imola built large machinery for quarries and mines but in few examples you know anything about them, thanks regards.

they told me that the large New Holland excavator is actually a Sumitomo with New Holland colors and livery but I don't understand which model they are referring to, certainly sold in few examples, in any case Fiat Hitachi excavators are very popular and used even now in my area I think it's an excavator strong sturdy reliable thank you

Some of the “fiat hitachi “ machines in your pictures are actually ex series hitachis . If they have an Isuzu engine as far as I’m aware they are a hitachi . The fiat hitachi used an iveco engine and as far as I’m aware was built in Europe

Every days a school day ! I didn’t know they badged any fiats with EX . Clever marketing I expect as I bet their sales dropped off compared to hitachis sales before the collaboration . May well of been an improvement on the first FH machines that came out .

The ex135 wasn’t a bad digger, better than the FH130s, but would still take a EX120-5 over one

The last 2 pics look like hitachis built by hitachi without fiat . I’m assuming in Japan . I know hitachi built wheeled excavators in Europe , I think Germany at some point but I’m not sure if they built any track machines in Europe .
