Festive machines

Was driving through Harpenden over the weekend and just couldn't work out what this festive feature was until I got closer as there are no tall buildings in this area. A decorated cherry picker at full extension Surprised me though as we have had a fair amount of strong wind here!

They have some set up there, used to park opposite their in the summer, and the amount of trucks they get through is very impressive!....will try and get a pic of it with all the lights on at nite, it looks really good

I know them V8 have some pull but didn’t think it would climb up there

Apparently welded down to the container base before it was lifted up. Won’t ever be going back on the road.

Never late in a V8.....unless it’s perched on the top of a container stack

Full N/B closeure last nite so was able to get some pics of it lit up

Drove past it today, looks pretty impressive in the flesh.
Truck is mounted ton a platform with a few steel braces to the underneath, then that platform has been placed on the container tower.
