Elevating tripod

Our tripod is a bit battered and is difficult to extend up when the receiver clamp falls on the extension piece of the tripod or when wanting to lift it for the idig receiver, so I am looking at another tripod, a useful upgrade might be an elevating tripod in the center as apposed to having to slide the legs out etc

Any recommendations or otherwise ?

Cheers

I have a Stabila one which has a wind up centre part. It’s ok, well made, but no idea how it compares to others?
only problem with it was the legs have short chain at the top to stop the leg being spread too far, these break easily but tbh don’t make a bit of difference to the operation.

Very similar to that. Mine is a few years old now, so may be a newer version?

We have one similar to this but it’s Bosch and came with a Bosch lazer line which is lone gone but the tripod survives. It has its use for accurately raising or lowering the datum line. We don use it a whole lot but handy when needed rather than up and down with traditional Tripod legs.
