Well sorry to disappoint but i don't think it's for me. Great seller and for someone it will be just the right machine but for me this is the problem...
As much as I liked the engcon there is no way id want it on for a vast majority of tasks I do tbh, it's a great finishing tool but with the grab I found it pretty slow even on highest hydraulic setting, much slower than a dedicated rotating grab and the extra bulk, weight and vulnerability is not for me I would prefer a dedicated rotating grab. The bobcat itself is a tight machine, smooth with little wear. It wouldn't be my first choice though because zero tail does make it pretty jumpy compared to what I'm used to and that paint job😳. The trouble for me i would value the machine bare stick at £18-19k, the only attachment id keep is the auger and so that leaves getting on for £8k or so I'd be paying for the engcon which to me is just not worth it for my work. I can't fit a thumb on it either because the dipper is too short. If I'm spending £36k Inc id be better of buying a brand new machine of my choice with the benefit of warranty and owning from new and then a new basic 4 pipe engcon (£5k ISH) which could be easily swapped on to my wacker too if required.

Came late to this thread read it through and now disappointed haha but sounds like you made the right choice for your work 👍

Best get that roof fixed though or Mrs will be after you wasting a day tire kicking
Haha did the roof back in April so can spend with impunity now😂

Thing is with the bobcat I'd offer him what it's worth to me - £18.5k for the base machine- £5k for the engcon (same as a new 4 piper) and £2k for the auger with some of that being cashew nuts to get rid of what is almost a useless pile of it in this day and age it seems. But I get it he wants to keep it altogether and kosher and therefore at that money the whole package has too many compromises for me and I'm better off going new and getting EXACTLY what I want instead

Is a new 4 piper really only 5k? I thought they were 7?

Tis a bit. But if I had an engcon I'd pretty much guarantee it'd spend 90% of its time with the grading bucket on so not much of an issue
When its a manual hitch you do more with one bucket thats for sure ;)

Im changing often between grader, trencher, rake and ripper (i know you have no gripper) but then its very often i drop bucket off to use gripper so buckets not in the way, might be less of an issue on a 3t machine but whatever size machine its worth the extra money for a hyd bottom hitch to get best use of it imho.

Matey with the bobcat was saying yesterday he takes the engcon off when he has the ripper on- pulling through roots etc. reckoned it wasn't worth risking damaging it🤷 I must admit the EC02 did look a bit Mickey mouse really for doing much hard graft with it.
