I'm intrigued enough I'll call in where i know there's a trailer with them on when I'm passing at some point and have a measure up for clearance on the insides. I've also got a place local which is a likely place to have them at a good price so i might just ring them out of interest.

I've emailed them just now to ask him to confirm availability and price.
Might be just the thing for our installations this summer.... either on lawns or in paddocks etc

I've been toying with making 3 tonner tread lighter for a while and always assumed those tyres to be dearer tbh. I've a fair few spare dumper wheels and have been thinking of dualing it but to make a decent reliable and easily put back to standard for narrower access job of it isn't a 5 min job. That and the fact that the total of about a dozen wheels and tyres I've got have all got tubes in to begin with

Fwiw I think they are about the right kind of money tbh, tyres are one of the things which haven't gone berserk price wise going by recent experience.

I think your right there, I bought a set of 4 on rims (400/60x15.5) the other year, 200 and something each,

used to deal with a Co. that supplied centreless rims, to fit your own ..... all I have to do is remember their name ... might still have their catalogue somewhere ?

They were a while ago v competitive but from recent experience they are a bit dearer than my local tyre fitter.
I'm gonna give AW Blake ltd a ring next week out of interest, if 400/60/15.5 is a size they keep they'll probably have them with rims and are usually pretty good price on complete wheels (and local).

For that just getting it done you can’t beat tacks, drive them sensibly in and out no skutching around they just allow you to get job done in the soft stuff. Not big muck shifters or long range but when the job needs doing they’re great. Also good for remote access, bed. Thinking about a newer one for all these barn jobs we’ve been doing for trust just to carry tools etc

Yep Gilles but horses for courses, for running across paddocks and lawns with minimal damage putting 30t of gravel in trenches you wouldn't go tracked.
Really I would like a 6t on floatation like James has, it would reduce trips .... but it never ends does it

Yeah I know hence why we’ve wheeled and tracked never have the right one when you need it haha

I like this though I saved off internet going to do it to one of our 1 ton neusons

We were digging out couple hundred ton running into field for tip this was damage to field after a week even in rain, if your careful can really leave no marks on grass lawns etc
