You raise a valid point though and one which myself and the campaign manager have discussed. Current options vary from getting it fitted to his 25 year old Kommy to a micro digger for the lol's. Either way I have a more suitable machine than the telehandler driver!
If I was a sceptic, I would imagine someone like Connor with a huge following on Instagram and a 13t machine on a housing site would be where you might expect them to lean towards... and he did get a "wildcard" entry so could be the promotors favourite?
Leica do have some kit which would suit my business very well, especially their Icon setting out gear, that doesn't need a CAD drawing input into it to work. Maybe I could have one of those instead? Or maybe I become the first 3t with GPS. A couple of the landscapers I work for design in autocad so its not beyond the imagination that I could actually make use of it?
Anyway, its not my problem and I've got to get through to the final first - then actually win, unlikely if I'm honest, depends what the stupid challenges are they ask you to do. You can be sure it wont be what you and I would call "proper" operating, more like hooking yellow ducks up from a pond. Not something I do a lot of in my line of business.
