Ditching work

I leave the complex traffic management to the man from the council - I believe we had 4 signs on the go...... it was quite involved

4pickups worth of pre-warning work notices, signs for the actual job and blokes asleep while “watching” the closed bits.

They would be asleep if they were watching the closed bits here covid probably cut the traffic in half .... to the 4 that passed

God knows what you need in the U.K to do a bit of ditching down the road in the way of signage and paperwork ?? - this is rural france ..... there was only about 4 cars went past all day and all but one stopped to natter to the council guy and tell him about the ditch being full outside their house

The problem is in the UK car drivers can't be expected to read a sign and pedestrians definitely cannot see plant working and think to avoid it

There alseep watching the closed bits in the UK and the open bits and the traffic lights in fact I'm not quite sure I e seen them not asleep
