Digging a money pit. (Kubota U27 no hydraulics)

Hi guys

Im having trouble with my Kubota U27, the hyraulics starting getting temperamental and not working for a few seconds when i put the safety arm down, it started getting more frequent over the next few days until today it stopped all together.
Iv checked the saftey arm fuse that is fine.
The digger will start when the arm is down which it didnt used to do.

I have found the saftey switch for the arm, but i dont know what resistance this is supposed to be, does anyone know what the resistance in the saftey arm switch should be?

I suppose it could also be the wiring but this is hard to trace, does anyone also know where the ecu is?
As i am presuming the saftey switch goes to the ecu, then i can test continuity.

Also any tips on how to get the saftey switch out if it is that, as it looks like the whole arm assembly needs to come out just to get the the screws holding it in.

I have zero experience of this machine but ..... the dead man switch should be open circuit when in the up position .
it usually controls a solenoid operated valve which cuts the servo circuit to the servo controlled operations .. this could also be at fault (the solenoid) - whether it is directly controlled by the switch or via an CU - I have no idea
if it's now starting with the arm down, it's possible the switch has gone open circuit (failed)

The switch will probably have a normally open side and a normally closed side there shouldn't be much in the way of resistance. I'd have said that you've found your problem by the question your asking I'd fit a jumper wire across the socket to test wether it's the switch. I'm afraid I can't give much in the was of advice for disassembly just keep unscrewing things untill there's enough room 😂

it's a switch - either making or breaking a circuit .. zero resistance closed - resistance to infinity when open

It’s what I do!
Ok there is a plug on the wiring somewhere, in plug it see if the hydraulics work, then put a bit of wire to join the plug you pulled out, pilot should then work, if it doesn’t disconnect when then wire is pulled out then the pilot solenoid is at fault!
