I'm just here for the popcorn.
I've probably worked on 4 or 5 of these old mechanical 300 - 400 series John Deere backhoes over the last few years. Every single one was damaged in the same way; cavitation damage to the cylinder sleeves. Not from any failure of the machines, but from failure of the operator to read the manual, or know what SCA is. This a fairly common occurrence here in the US. Does this sort of thing happen alot over on your side of the ocean?
