I'm not sure how many have seen this Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@CuttingEdgeEngineering but it's completely sucked me in

Whether it's a complete rebuild of a D8 Dozer blade, a re-barrel of a hydraulic cylinder or lathe work to extraordinary precision, my admiration for Kurtis's skill and knowledge and Karen's excellent camera work is full of adjectives. The explanation of how and why things are done right down to the type of cutting tools on the lathe and the settings on the welder makes the videos educational as well as enjoyable. There's even an explanation of how the work they do saves the customer massively over the the price of new parts.

As their workshop is around 1000km from me I'm not likely to send them any work from my equipment. However if I did I'd be honoured to have them work on it as I know it would be done perfectly.

With over 644,000 subscribers I think I'm not the only admirer Should interest Druid a little I think...

been subscribed for years Dave ... he's bloody good ... love his shop, must charge premium prices to maintain that shop with just one man, bringing in the bacon ... dare say his youtube income helps a lot too
another I was recommended a while ago was Diesl Creek .... no where near Kurtis's level, but gets some interesting things to play with ... another massive 'tube income
have also been watching Ambition Strikes .. the early stuff, building their place was very interesting, but they seem to be struggling for content the last few months.
same with Wild Wonderful Off Grid .. earlier stuff was far more watchable

Andrew Camarata continues to be a completely different watch .. some of his antics are he really is no ****s given
any of the flip flop's repair stuff is truly impressive - given what most of them work with - next to sod all !!

I'd hazard a guess all those you mention are on all our subs Andrew is probably my favourite if I had to pick ..simple down to earth and yet his sense of humours right up my street . Very un ",youtubery"

Nah, just picky about what I watch. There's so much to see online that you could waste all your spare time following your interests. I thought I remembered someone posting about it on some forum I inhabit but couldn't remember where. I suppose with that many subscribers there's bound to be a few from here

I guess what appeals most of all is that Kurtis has the attributes that I wish I could find in every person I deal might with with regard to heavy equipment, building and construction. It can be a bit of a lottery finding someone good that doesn't move on to a high paying mine site job or retire

Snowball engineering gets my vote can make something out of nothing

CEE Australia is good but quite repetitive . Our Snowball Engineering is a bit more “real world” and he deals with whatever comes through the door with the kit and materials that he has around him. Just built his own line boring rig including an adaptation to machine down and build up recessed shaft that couldn’t be easily removed from a furrow press. Not too proud to say that “ next time I might do it differently better, next time.”

Snowball is pretty good tbf...caught up with a bit of YT lately ...and tbf I've grown to like welderfabber a bit more was initially put off by his swagger but that's just a local lad...it's actually quite nice to see real life sh*t that happens in big outfit.
