Im never sure how to feel about protests. On this issue I agree with the truckers plight- but if it was isolate Britain blocking my way to work I'd be raging.

I think the difference between the insulate lot and the truckers is the insulate lot are trying to bring down capitalism and force everybody else to return to pre industrial society (apart from themselves obviously) whereas the truckers are not trying to force anybody else to do what they don’t want to but are trying to regain freedoms that were thought inalienable in western democracies but which seem to have been taken away with little or no democratic oversight and are being denied still even though the excuses for doing so are becoming less and less.

i have never read or heard any reports that the vaccines were not about stopping anyone catching or spreading covid. more like it was to lessen people being seriously affected and needing critical care, but that does not make good news at all.
