I think it's coming. The money pot is empty but the fire they have stoked is so strong if they don't backtrack it's likely to burn them in the process

A big part of the problem now is other countries seem to be more obsessed with the vaccine than we ever were and i think that's stopping uk govt binning it although Boris is starting to move that way. The thing is if the vaccine did its job with the early variants and if omicron as a weaker strain is what we are gonna see from now there's no need for any more jabs. Herd immunity can easily and safely work.

Strength of the pound is beginning to make Europe look a little silly...expect more awkwardness ahead....

I think the vaccine should just be offered to anyone who wants it, rather like the flu always has done. No mandates, no coercion. If your worried about COVID then take the bloody vaccine and stop whining about those who haven't. And vice versa, if people feel safer having the jab then let them crack on- it's really quite straightforward id have thought.

If only it was this simple. Sadly the whole thing has many more connotations that you have yet to deal with.

It seems to have gone quiet on how it all started and we are being told to expect regular pandemics. Seems to me vested interests are trying to entrench their power over us for the future.
If, as seems likely, it was a lab leak there is no reason to assume we will be getting any more species jumping lurgy than we did before. Just tighten up bio security and it will be okay. If on the other hand it did come from bats in some cave in China we need to get the flame thrower out and sort the problem, because that seems a lot more worrying to me.
