which makes it utter bollox .... can still carry/catch/transmit it ..... and will be utterly complacent about how he conducts himselfMy groundworkers missus tested positive on LFT, he tested negative. Went to Exeter for PCR test same results again.
Rules state he must now isolate for 10 days as it's the same household. If he had, had his jabs he wouldn't have to isolate. So he's currently at home on £140.00 and kicking himself for not getting the jab.
Next day i got my first jab

Only today a friend in the NHS told me she’d lost a colleague to COVID last week. Don’t know whether she’d been vaxxed or not but the vast majority being hospitalised or dying haven’t been jabbed. Take from that what you will.

If that's true (which it isn't) it only shows that vaccines do naff all to stop the spread. Similar death rates to this time last year when 100% of the population was unvaccinated. If those deaths are largely made up of the 10% of the adult population that aren't vaccinated it just indicates that COVID is considerably more prevalent as an overall than this time last year...

think there were figures quoted a few pages back that stated hospital admissions were something like 60+% were jabbed?

I haven’t got a dog in this fight, but one year ago deaths were about 390. A year and a day ago over 800, a year and two days ago over 900. They aren’t anywhere near that high at the moment.

All I can speak from is personal experience...I had covid few weeks back....had worse flu tbh. But I'm darn glad I had the Vax. I had mates earlier in the year going into hospital etc.
To me it was a no brainer .tiny lil prick I eat and drink more s**t than that all day long
Ive never known a subject cause such division but seriously either have it...or if you don't want it don't have it simples...if you feel forced well thats tough s**t ..I hate doing 50mph on average speed mways but there's fk all I can do about it

My 11 year old daughter had positive covid test this morning. She had been on a school trip last week with her year 200+ kids.
I'm double jabbed the mrs isn't jabbed. Daughter has a bit of a cough. She's been in her rolm all day, that won't last long. Will see what happens.

My bad, I’d gone onto a US site. Mind you, the numbers have been far lower for most of this year. We hit almost a thousand a day earlier last year, and we‘ve only recently gone over a hundred. As Lancs Lad said above, personal choice. I couldn’t give a flying fig who does or doesn’t have the jab, or for their reasons either way. We’re all going to die sometime, and there have been far worse times to live than the present.

IMHO when phrases such as "well tolerated in children" roll out of the news it's time to have a serious redress...... The longer I wait to see if I want a jabitty jib the more I think it's something I'll skip and take a chance with the illness..... Bear in mind I don't get my opinions from captain crackpot on Facebook..... As said at the start, I trust science but definitely do not trust companies selling anything remotely profitable.... (Dupont - teflon, look it up to see if you think scandle has gone)
Solution personally was to jab the old and the infirm and let everyone else cycle through the disease quickly..... If the fire burns hot and fast it will soon run out of fuel..... If you keep damping the fire it will burn for decades

Bit contradictory isn't it- either have it of don't have it but if feel forced then tough s**t? I don't care what anyone does and certainly not in the habit of trying to sway others away from having it- ultimately it's should be a choice- just disagree with the coercive tactics of gov to get people to have it.
