MOTs extended for six months
There's some good news for drivers in the UK. Drivers are to receive a six-month extension to annual tests of a car's roadworthiness.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps says MOTs due for renewal from 30 March will be extended for half a year due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Mr Shapps said on Twitter that drivers must still keep their cars safe and that garages would remain open for any repairs.

It is indeed weird to read that..

Perhaps most of us have had it, i was wiped out in January.. it is real weird. USA is going through it, Germany the same.. maybe it has mutated and the strains are potentially less lethal, weird
Me too ... close to two weeks ... with an elephant sat on my chest for 4-5 days .... not often i take to my bed for days, but had to .... I will be very surprised if i've not already had it . . certainly had all the symptoms and will be first in the queue for testing, when they have a test to see if you have antibodies (y)

Think @Cyberprog was the same

Talking to someone who works with tropical machine and diseases, it’s mutated twice since the outbreak, hence why it’s spreading with devastating effect.

Aye thought the bit from the lab was interesting and how they can use dna to trace where people have got it from.

Onsite for kiers today they are taking it as we have till Friday to make sites safe and secure ready for a full shut down next week no work being issued unless it's safety critical so even reactive work is being scaled right back

Better than the last week's approach of office staff self isolate. Grunts on the ground carry on as usual

So, it would seem that this Corona 19 is a mix of HIV, SARS and BAT SARS. This particular version is causing problems as it has 4 receptors that latch onto the different human cells, it would be normal to see 1 possible 2 of these receptors in a virus.
Very complicated genomics are involved but it would appear that a BAT with SARS was shagged by a monkey that had been rear ended by a bloke from New York that was in the village people. The BAT then went to the market and shagged a fish which was eaten by a women or possible a man that just happened to live about 10miles away from the Chinese Research Facility that specialises in BAT Corona virus research. Draw you own conclusions!!!

I think I went through Xmas never more than arms distance from tissues. Plus took weeks to clear off my chest.

I too had the Xmas Plague.... very few things knock me for six (i've been playing in f****ng skips since childhood so my immune system is pretty good)..... Three f****ng weeks I had that and I stayed at home/did very little for one of those as i could'nt fkn breath...

The question is not where is the death count? but perhaps are we looking in the wrong place for it?

I think it was the milder, non deadly version. What we have since seen is a more potent version from China.
