he has impressed me seems to have stepped up to the job and doing ok. a completely shite situation to be in. he cant please everyone thats the truth. but whatever he does do will not be right for everyone. stay safe guys its better to maybe have empty pockets for a while because there are not any pockets in a shroud. i never imagined anything like this would ever happen in my lifetime.

Now they say you can/should go to work if you can't work from home...

"He said construction workers - many of whom work outdoors - could and should continue to go to work as long as they are able to remain two metres apart at all times."

Wonder how many old wagons have crawled out the corner of yards in the last week 🤔
They are going to extend current mot certificates by 3 months, so should vehicles that are all ready roadworthy.

Had late lunch early dinner at home with the sun shining and playing with the daughter.

Update on plans. Going back in tomorrow to get all the blocks done in the beam floor. Move the site container it a place where it can stay for the duration of the build. Low loader booked to get the Kobelco and dumper back home to the farm on Friday.

All subject to what Boris says next!

I think he’s put a great team together as well, especially Sunak. God knows where we would be if he hadn’t won the election.

Not sure if anyone else been investigating this 80% salary lark...clear as mud...but biggy is atm you still have to pay the lads...then claim it back...try doing that when nowt coming in...🤔 Bankruptcys are lining up left right and centre I'm told today. Any one cutting it fine with cashflow is buggered.
One silver lining is hopefully it will finish off the Muppet millionaires...living on the never never quick rich schemes and all that crap..👍

yes ... but as said must be roadworthy and capable of passing an MOT at any time ... an unroadworthy vehicle is also not insured

Ok,so I'm confused now?
think basically t'ain't as lethal as they first thought ... but still pretty s**t to get, still risky for a lot of people and needs to be gotten on top of, as out of control it has the potential to kill A LOT of folks
'taint quite the black death ... but deffo not good :(

Way I read it is they are no longer as concerned with it's ability to spread which enables them to treat it with less risk control measures in place.

Point I'm making,,'low overall mortality rate',on a gov website, never heard this in the announcements which have caused panic, but as average 1400 people die everyday,400+in two months, sad for those concerned is a low eate,

Ok,so I'm confused now?

It is indeed weird to read that..

Perhaps most of us have had it, i was wiped out in January.. it is real weird. USA is going through it, Germany the same.. maybe it has mutated and the strains are potentially less lethal, weird

It's all getting very confusing !

Seems to depend who you listen to, some experts are saying half of us have had it already others are saying otherwise. Looks like a parliamentary select committee is going to pull their advisers in for a grilling.

I decided to stay away from work after reading on Johns Hopkins University website that covid is also called SARS-CoV-2 o_O
