My thinking is he's left it a bit open to interpretation deliberately to allow people to go onto sites to make them safe and take anything valuable away with a view to closing them down by the end of the week.

Garages are allowed to remain open under the new restrictions.
MOTs for lorries, buses and trailers have already been suspended for up to three months. The government says these vehicles must be maintained and kept roadworthy.
MOTs for cars, motorcycles and light vans are under review.
One can only imagine the chaos when this is over...

I’m working in a sand quarry today which is business as usual.
The official government guidance is pretty clear - it says you can leave the house to travel to work if you can’t work from home. No mention of key worker restrictions etc.
I’m sure that by the end of the week it will be only work away from home if you are a key worker (along with a very specific list).

Self employed people should really have a bit of a buffer that's why the national insurance is lower. I'm going for the 80% on my paye once materials dry up. Got a week or so infront upto now. Maybe 2 weeks more if merchants open up again tomoz

Went to site to tidy up and lock up. Got abused by a neighbour shouting “you should be at home”
Day 2 of daughte off school meant I had a phone call at 1pm saying get home, you are grounded until the schools go back!

he has impressed me seems to have stepped up to the job and doing ok. a completely shite situation to be in. he cant please everyone thats the truth. but whatever he does do will not be right for everyone. stay safe guys its better to maybe have empty pockets for a while because there are not any pockets in a shroud. i never imagined anything like this would ever happen in my lifetime.
