Would have thought only a small section of merchants/suppliers stay open for supplying materials for breakdown situations. Otherwise it will be a complete shutdown with only companies with alot of stock doing the work

I agree, I reckon the independent ones will try and stay open tomorrow but after that probably have to shut. TP, Keyline, Jewsons etc I reckon will only be open to the railways, road contractors etc

I had to stand 2m away from counter today in 2 places. They bought stuff to me and I paid in one then just approach counter in other when time to pay. Another had no precautions

It scares me a lot that this is lock down. Surely to god we can sort stuff out? I have lorry's due in Cornwall tomo, Midhurst Wednesday and Peterborough friday. These machines need to be lifted and secured in the yard at the very least.

I understood him to say don’t go out unless you are going to work, food shopping, medical appointments or exercise, so you are fine to carry on working. Just avoid the group hugs.

Im just waiting for clarity on work and whether its 'essential work' whatever that may be. I am on a job at the mo doing some land drains in the garden of a local private house/ estate where i go and see nobody whilst there so im thinking I'll get that finished and take it from there.
