Yes, still got my doosan.
I did look at 4 doosan dx27s, but for what I need this machine to do vs cost it was a no brainer of buying the 8025.

Just going to raise bucket size here again.
I have a Kubota K008-3, purchased without any buckets so I have free reign to buy whatever size buckets I like.
My work will be a mixed bag of general messing about, so I'm thinking:

- 12" for trenching for services/drainage
- For bulk excavations (yes I know my machine is <1 tonne
) I'm unsure on either the 18" or 24". Initially I would have thought no bigger than 18" but I watched a youtube video here of a bloke with a homemade 45" grading bucket on a K008-3 and she handles it well. Appreciate grading is much less taxing than digging but did get me thinking that she'd dig away with a 24" provided no major buried rocks were encountered. - If I'm feeling generous a 30" grading bucket.
- I considered a quick hitch but being a builder and not a plant contractor I'm not sure I'd get the use out of it to justify the cost

The k008 will handle a 2ft digging bucket and a 2ft6 ditcher with ease.
I've also had a 900mm ditcher on them before today.
Just buy a bucket that's profiled for a micro digger.
They can handle a 1.5t profile bucket but work alot better with dedicated micro buckets

You’ll end up digging more with the 12” on hard going. I have an 18” on mine but I’d use a 12 a lot more. 6 or 9 for services, and I have a 30” grading bucket. I’ve seen that 48” bucket on line, he probably killed the bushes or twisted the stick after filming finished.

Yeah you're spot on about that 48" bucket. The machine has sufficient power but the arm and linkages wouldn't be able to handle the increased force leveraged from the extra width.

Unless Rhinox have changed their bucket range, they’re far too heavy for a micro. I bought a 6” and 24” for my Bobcat E10, sold the 24” straight on, and don’t like the 6” at all so rarely gets used! I did ring and ask if I had been sent the wrong one, but was told they only sell one range at that level 
For ref, both 24” for bobcat micro. Strickland on left (32kg), rhinox right (think it was something like 54kg!)

As above, don't buy Rinox. Go to Strickland, you won't be disappointed. Mine are a lovely set of buckets for a micro.

I'm not sure if Rhinox have a micro range separate to their mini bucket range, perhaps if its only the lugs they change, I've have to get them to clarify.
Digbits appear to have 0.5t to 0.9t bucket range separate to their 1t to 1.9t bucket range.

I've certainly check out the Strickland buckets.
Annoyingly they dont seem to have any prices online, I've send them an email.

I bought a few Rhinox buckets for my 8 tonner- pretty decent for the price really, but think they're very much suited to quick off the shelf orders so their range is limited.

The Strickland buckets I've seen looked well built but I don't like the profile of the side walls on the ones I've seen- no concave, side cutting edge, just a very boxy looking straight edge

Get some prices from Digbits, for comparison at least. They make everything in house in the UK and could no doubt do you a bit of a deal on a few buckets sent on the same delivery. You can also spec teeth, no teeth and bladed edge with them. I cant recommend a ripper tooth enough for a micro - game changing attachment! Worth every penny and in hard ground or pulling up driveways, concrete or tree stumps, its brilliant.

But they seem to counteract this by fitting very large teeth. I'm sure all the Strickland's seem to have teeth off the next size up fitted so you still end up with a decent toe for trying to pick things up

I have a 900 & 750 for my kx027-4, handles both with no issues
Great all round machine and after having several u27’s it’s like a totally different machine, the twin lines are spot on and also auto fast track thing is very useful (when turning or dozing bigger amounts/build up it switches to tortoise then back when going straight again)
Big comfortable cab, big fuel tank but very good on fuel so not forever filling it up
Yeah they are a bit more than other brands but it earns money so pays it back…… in comfort

Digbits will make a bucket however you want it. I’ve had two buckets made to my design, one for a 312, one for an ET90, and their standard ripper for a 320. All excellent quality. Also used them for pins and bushes for the Kubota
