presumably from the link ? significant saving over your original price
I originally ordered (stupidly) from Premium Paints Limited for £144 inc........ Then reading your link I see it £104 on ebay from DB trade. Cancelled original order without any fuss. Looking at the size of DB it should be inc vat so £87 per 20l tin... which is better................

be careful what you thin it with ... IIRC they specify white spirit/turp.s sub., rather than celly thinners .. I keep a 20ltr of both ... it'll need thinning - usually arrives like treacle

looks like they're now restricted to shipping in 5 ltr containers ..... mine always arrived in 20s
Had an hour to myself this afternoon. Got my compressor up and running and strapped to a pallet ready for moving about. Got the schutz gun ready for a play. Opened the first box of 4 of 20l (Dark Brunswick Green ) paint. Opened the tin. Bloody Light Brunswick green not DARK as per invoice and email. Not checked the other tins, one of em is over at farm so will do it tomorrow. Luckily its looking like rain again so not holding me up. Suppliers have already responded so hopefully it will all be sorted out. Should have opened all the tins when they arrived...

have you put a stirrer in a drill and brought the pigment up from the bottom of the tin ... it always looks like very light green 'til you give it a few minutes agitation

I gave it a good stir with a length of copper.. Will try the stirrer on it tomorrow when I'm not wearing my good overalls!

Will try and report back. We have them as use for knocking up the odd bucket of mortar
drop it into the centre of the bucket and quietly work your way around in ever increasing circles ... beauty of those is almost no risk of knocking a hole in the side of the bucket ... should see the pigment rising pretty quickly and then work yer way up/down/etc. ...... 'course you may be right and have been sent the wrong colour :LOL:... but was my first thought when I opened my first tin, many years ago (used to use a lot of it on tanks)

School day today... and asking for advice. Had my first ever go at paint spraying today. Got onse side of the worst Container done in 20 mins. Its well battered and needs welding, but its a 1991 model and cost me only the £180 haulage. Will be up against hedge so luckily well hidden. Rained halfway through which didn't help. Using a petrol compressor which is giving 57cfm at 6 bar. Probably losing a bit on the end of my hose (high capacity hose though). Using schutz gun with 1l cans .
Container paint mixed 25% with white spirit . Mixing in the 1l cans.. (white spirit in first then 750ml paint on top and a dam good shake up) once it gets going it's spraying well...but then when I change to the next can (same mix) it seems to be struggling to pick up the paint.
I stirred it well with combi and stirrer first!
Questions.
Am I over OR under thinning ? Should I clean gun through between cans? Should I be using less pressure? Should I be using a proper paint sprayer? Should I be mixing it with a stirrer in a separate container? If using a 'proper' paint sprayer they have tiny 600ml pots... that's 35 refills per container... and u have 3 to do..
Complete novice at this - just having fun.
No photos because I cant :-(

I find the Schutz guns chuck it out even if it’s a bit thick.
I have had paint separate a bit when thinned and ended up with hard lumps which might be blocking your gun possibly? I tend to thin a couple of gallons at a time in a bucket and mix it all with a paint stirrer in a drill, then pour that through a pair of tights (that I borrowed off @diggerjones) into a pouring jug for filling the sprayer. The tights catch the lumps.

25% thinner sounds a bit thin to me , on container enamel I'd thinking warm it up a bit/ thin it 10% with bog standard gun cleaning thinners.
Might be worth running a bit of neat thinners through the Shultz between refills to keep the venturi clear.

Blimey-photo worked! Don’t look close up :-(
Will try again with less thinning and more cleaning of gun between vans. Will also whip up in a separate container before straining. Just need some tights now .

the std for the container paint is turps/white spirit CN .. have used celly before now and it evaporates too quick ... blowing it through between pots is a good idea as unless it's one off/one on it will harden pretty quick in the gun
