can vividly remember being out in Brecon Wool Merchants, 1980, in a Hydrocon Clansman, driving it for a Co. I used to work for,
having a 2" pick up/main feed hose go to the rotary coupling.
Rang the boss and he'd told me to 'pop down the road' a hundred yards, to a hyd place, borrow some tools and wrestle the bloody thing off, under the machine - covered in oil ...
then spending well over two hours with the guy in the hyd shop, battling two fittings onto a 2" rubber python
followed by a major struggle to refit the bloody thing on my own ....
those fittings were bloody hateful things ......
an experience never forgotten

I once replaced a compressor hose on an old Holman that too was about 2ā but the length was critical, that was the hardest part, as it was basically impossible to bend!certainly are Mick ....
