i like it a lot, i think they do one with a hydraulic winch plumbed off the aux. keeping my eye out for one but they dont seem to come up very often.

On jcb there is a black box on side of boom about size of fat packet
As the boom retracts there is a metal plate that covers it which tells the machine the boom is fully retracted and disables the sli for bucket work
If this black box where to some how end up with a 2p piece stuck over it then you can do what you like

My duckling has got tubeless floatiestricky with tubed tyres
I know tubes on tractors, used to have a double valve set up, a normal Schrader valve to inflate, then un screw that to leave a larger opening to fill with water.

Tbh @V8Druid the ducks nearly got more reach than it can handle anyway with the 3pc and offset boom and no legs to keep the arse down it's got some pretty serious reach anyway if I was to go for any sort of boom it would be a 3cx extending type boom so it could give more reach for digging /ditching and could be used for lifting if required

There are a few pix on fb of the whole bucket linkage and ram removed and then the two pins at the bottom of the boom used to mount it solidly to the dipper so no worry about the ram failing

bit like a fixed dipper extension ... lot of faff for a few lifts though ........

My duck has had the tyres foam filled cost £200 each but no punctures plus they are very heavy mine is a 170W but weighs 21 tonnes

Just fill the tubes in the tyres through the valve, just told them how much pressure I run them at so that’s how much stuff they put in them have to leave them a couple of days to cure on their side

Can you get the tyres back off the rims once that stuff has gone off or do you have to have new wheels with new tyres once you wear them out mate?
