I like the idea of doing that to a disco 2.
I've done at least 3 jobs now that it was very nice to have low range and two of those I would have to have parked far away if it wasn't for low range and 4x4.

£17k for a tiny truck that can only carry 500kgs and tow 750kgs, with a weezy athsmatic 1.3 petrol engine? You'd just buy a normal farm buggy, it would be cheaper and better.

Mate had one lifted on big tyres...went anywhere litterally .

I think these lot were the first to do it, i know they've been doing suzuki mods for a long time. They might seem expensive to someone who has no interest or need for one but when you compare them to gators kubota rtv etc they are actually not that bad. Granted you don't see many about and compared to gators etc they probably sell v few but there's a few farmers running them instead.

Big following for these will go anywhere they’re so light and small and comforts of a proper cabin heaters radio etc vs noisey cold side by side or rtv and ok on road if have to go on the road . Just wants to be diesel though for filling up with cherry

My young 20 year olds new starter/apprentice/ has got one(he’s about the size of my 13 year old), me and 6’5” 19 stone second row worker can pick the front up clear off ground with a wheel each but can’t actually fit in it

I bought an old MOT failure Suzuki SJ off a mate for £50 many many moons ago to get to/from the pub along the beach in Abersoch (my mum lives at the far end). It would go anywhere and was easy to ‘unstuck’ when we found it’s limits. We hung it up on the groynes more than once - pretty easy to lift/force over with a few pissed mates…

Used to go to a local quarry off roading in the SJ I had at the time. Amazing the places it would go with only some knobbly tyres, no lift or fancy diffs!

Suspension lift etc will probably mean it's safer to downgrade it. End of the day no modded 4x4 is as stable on the road as when standard.Specs on that conversion site said 750kg?
