Cold yanmar engine

Hi there, me again.
Takeuchi TB016 working really cold.
The gage has a small white section then mostly green and then red. The needle sits between the white and the green. Could be a faulty thermostat of that is just how it is?
Temperature today was 20C so about 70F. Would expect middle range temperature ... ?

Have you tried bringing it inside by the Rayburn to heat it up. My mate does it with lambs that are cold and it seems to do the trick.

Edit, I've just thrown a jacket on mine and it's already happier.

The needle sits between the white and the green.

That looks perfectly normal to me - did it previously sit somewhere else?

It used to show about 1/3 up the green, but it always takes good 15 minutes of work to even start to warm up.
