hi excuse me if I disturb, I do not know what you call it, we called it cradle or stabilizer trolley support, I am referring to that device with hinged arms that opened when the body was raised, in modern tippers they are seen only in trucks carrying boulders , I was wondering how you called this system the operating principle strengths defects, why is it almost no longer used when setting up the tipper body of the truck how many variants and configurations are there of this lever mechanism? thanks sorry for the inconvenience

presumably designed to keep the body in line with the chassis and stop twisting and the resultant side loading to what are often long, slender rams AND possible failure/collapse ....... keeps everything in line
