Check valves

With things that are only supposed to flow one way, such as breakers or one way motors, is it a good idea to install a check valve in the return pipe? Would this prevent any flow or pressure getting past it if the return pipe was pressurised by mistake?

Further to this, hypothetically speaking, in that it woudl make a SAVAGE power pack for a 24t log splitter , could one plumb two 30/l min powerpacks into a one big bore pipe via check valves with no ill effects if only one pump was running?

If you plumb 2 into one surely the return would be the hard part would have to t into return circuits and plumb the 2 tanks together so you don't end up draining one and overflowing the other

How is it operated foot pedal or thumb switch ??
Would it not be easier
If a foot pedal just put a block of wood under the side you can't want to operate
If a thumb switch put an rocker switch into the circuit so you can turn of the power to the reverse side

Just put a non-return value in, only about 6inch long if that, had one on my crusher bucket, something like this...

I asked bobcat and they said it would be fine The check valve question is more for making sure it can’t get pressurised the wrong way as my machines are all different but share attachments.

Non Return valve. BUT they can and will restrict flow so it's worth bearing that in mind as some attachments (montabert breakers particularly) need zero pressure returns to function.

Its a very bad design floor of the e10. Its a bloody pain on the e10 and the tecna breaker ive got. Ive been tempted to just fit a free return to tank but i dont use the breaker enough nor have i looked how feasable it is.
