Training is bollocks. Holding the handle between your legs is perfectly safe, if it’s good enough for a warm start why not a hot start? You could just as easily argue that starting it in the ground is more likely to give you back problems.

And yes, I could start your 084 holding it between my legs.

The giveaway for a pikey tree surgeon is starting it by yanking the cord with one hand whilst holding/pulling the sawvthe other way with the other!

It’s what I do!
3/4-3/4 used to be the default carb jet and needle settings, then tune from there!

I dont think it suits building type work. It needs to tickover for 30-60 seconds to warm up so you can rev it . If your too eager and it stalls, it needs half a million pull starts to get it going again. If your only cutting one sleeper its cold again in 5 min and needs another warm up.
