Any recommendations for a good supplier ?
I've used them too... No complaintsI use theratchetshop. They're certainly cheap on ratchet straps and Ive bought slings and chain components too.
Prices are decent bought a load of small ratchets as needed the ratchet close to the hook. They are good only niggle is some don't quite lock closed properlyI use theratchetshop. They're certainly cheap on ratchet straps and Ive bought slings and chain components too.
you can buy hooks to fit web and round slings Andy and shackle to a master link at t'other endSlight derailment here but have you seen the new fabric chains that George taylor have started selling tycan had the rep in the other day and he was saying about them they have started to be used by some of the bigger boys like mammoet they are saying it is 8 times lighter then the equivalate steel chain and is can be made up to about 14 tons for lifting and 10 or 13 tons for load binding is not cheap though think they quoted around £120ish a meter for it
seen and tested a lot of them as the dutches have them a lot on there kit. this stuff is formed like chain so individual links as opposed to a sling with a hook added. hopefully we will get as sample soon so I can have a feel and play with it to see what it is likeyou can buy hooks to fit web and round slings Andy and shackle to a master link at t'other end
