Round by our yard they buy agricultural land and just move in. The council does nothing to stop them, but when another tenant in our yard was homeless and stayed overnight in a caravan it was less than a week before the council arrived and threatened him with prosecution for illegally living on land. One rule for one and one rule for others.

Loads round here. One field someone has completely trashed since Christmas but don't think it's travellers. First 2 shipping containers appeared,then they drove round it and churned it up. Then broken down cars and random piles of rubbish. Now a mobile home is abandoned in the gateway.

It’s a great idea, one I have muttered under my breath whilst talking to locals who were on the fence about some of my current applications.

funny you should say that.... was a rumour around Abergavenny that if I didn't get planning sorted soon I was going to open the yard up to pikies, when we were getting no where with the tw*ts in planning
