i belive the locals kept the coppers in tea and biscuits whilst they reloaded the vans ,they then impounded the vans and arrested the occupantsjust seen this article elsewhere and also posted it in Wow thread

Didn't realise Scotland had imposed loads of 20mph limits as well. Went along the A702 on Monday and all the towns and villages have new 20mph limits since I went last. I guess recent as I passed three speed camera vans.
Local to me activists tried to get our village to impose a blanket 20mph speed limit, but the council rejected it. So now we reguarly get these people driving around at under 20mph to enforce their will over the rest of us.

Noticed that...main A7 even had 20 sections.
Also noticed a determined 20mph been enforced in Welsh villages recently almost like they clock you don't have a Welsh flag on your plate so insist on driving at 15mph.
Felt like getting a huge boat and fancy range rover and a "I'm just driving to my second home in abersock" sticker just to piss em off

They have done it all over the surreyhills.
But not on big roads, on little single track lanes that you struggle to do 20 on anyway. Completely pointless, unenforceable and a waste of money putting all the signs up. And in the spirit of environmentalism they have used wooden posts.
They have also changed lots of 50 and 60 roads to 30 and 40. So now 50% drive at 20 mph and 50% drive at 60
