do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
their use of AI is already picking up errors/shortfalls from years back - Pam's mate has just been clobbered for their errors in her taxation going back 7 years FFS ... demand for circa £2k for all sorts of piddly bits and pieces over the years-- AI is essentially a 'nit comb' for tax  🤬

"Greater use of AI will enable our staff to spend less time on admin and more time helping taxpayers, ........
A spokesperson clarified AI was only used this way as part of criminal investigations - not on the everyday tax payer. "

Utter bull sh1t - see above post :(
as far as being more helpful - it's nothing to spend an hour in a queue, waiting to speak with someone, who then tells you they don't really know/you need a different dept. (and put you back on hold/in a queue)/you need to put your Q in writing and send it in 🤬🤬🤬🤬
they owe me circa £5k, by my reckoning - trying to get it back has been like pushing treacle up a wall, in a heat wave o_O:mad:

"The adopted tax measures raise concerns:

  • Increase in the tax rate for large companies from 25% to 40%
  • Increase from 25% to 33% for other companies :oops:
  • Controversial lowering of the VAT threshold for self-employed workers, ultimately suspended " :(
