So I'm not the only one thinking it's a bit of a waste of time, there may be a story behind it all and I never watched it from start to finish, skipped through a fair bit but unproductive in my book

I'd hazard a guess that its the perfect opportunity to learn the controls and capabilities, angles, responses of the machine.
There are hell of a lot of options when it comes to operating a Menzi well and safely.
Sure as hell I wouldn't like my first job to be climbing over a 2ft high wall into flowing water or strimming a 40m motorway batter so how would I gain the experience?
Go play in the field with a D6, go play on a pile of muck with a Menzi

Anybody any idea who's machine it is?

As for it looking easy Druid makes welding, bending and fabricating look easy

I skipped through majority of it.
If it is some sort of marketing they really should have edited it down to couple of minutes or so

As Hydremaduck says, an ideal, opportunity to get the hang of the machine somewhere safe and easy to get at if there were a problem. Didn't see her lifting the wrong leg once, but that may be down to editing.

Yes a bit tricky that one when I load yours I sometimes cock the wrong leg up but being close to the ground no big dramas
I met duck girl at plantworx a few years back just seemed like ‘one of the lads’ fair play to her for getting into a mainly male oriented job

met her briefly at Ovlov's dig day in Solihull a while back ... seemed alright too ... as you say good on her for making it in the field .... she was gonna come pay me an' the 'Drema a visit, when she was down here on Lister's duck last year, but never managed to find the time
Always said I'd employ a female crane op. if one ever showed up .... seem to have a 'gentler', more finessed 'touch' with gear.

Site I was in years ago had a female tower crane op she was dangerous. Did what she wanted, caught a few wagons with the chains and nearly knocked someone off the back of a wagon

was a girl drove for Tescos that used to deliver here ... a right bar steward of a loading bay .... she could put a forty in there sweet as, first time, every time ..... a pleasure to watch her

Had a lass in our yard today driving an 18 tonner, delivering steel, it’s not the easiest of places to get into if you don’t know the drill, no fuss and in first time, no shunting or whining about the job. More than happy to have her hear again.
