Certainly hope they make a go of it! 👍🏻
Sick of everything being London Centric
We hoped like heck Blackpool would for commercial again but doesn't like likely now.

but if they even put the spread of amenities then you will end up with price and crowding of the south. Especially with remote working. If I where you I would want every chance possible to stave of the invasion of city types spreading their wings. It is completely ruining the countryside of the south east and will happen to you.

Ive recently had a lad finish a t level placement with me. Have kept him on a couple of days of his nearly finished 2 year course. Asked him what his and others plans were for the end of 2 year course. Some are signing on for apprenticeships with the placement employers. So they take a 2 year course to do 8 weeks work experience to then start an apprenticeship at the end of the course. Wtf. You cant beat hands on time on the tools. Also the higher minimum wages have f***ed everything this kid is on 10 quid an hour soon to be more in April, plus holiday allowance and they struggle to not be a drain at those levels.

The minimum wage increases are going to cost job places unless this is a major overhaul on training funding. Work experience is a major factor in training. If you you don’t learn you don’t earn. The minimum wage is a socialist dream towards equal pay for everyone. Sorry, but that doesn’t reflect real life. The socialist are also blind to the fact that socialism has not succeeded anywhere. Many thinks wrong in capitalism, but it works better than the alternative.
