bulk tanks will have to be purged apparently ...... pretty sure I put a link up to this a while back. As for staff ... this'll likely be a big money spinner for HMRC .... they'll staff it and police it, for sure.
Suppliers only as to my understanding. End users Bowsers will have to be empty of red but non purged.

Are we sure there is still going to be red and white diesel and not just white diesel and the farmers get a rebate?

it's feasible to set it up ...... have had white delivered before now and the driver drops a measured amount of dye in on delivery .. marks the ticket as red ... so could quite feasibly deplete all stocks of pre-dyed fuel running up to the date and just use that system from there on in ... can't see the giles,s being given the opportunity to claim every last CC of white as farm use somehow ..... just mark their individual deliveries .. much simpler ...... then all the producers have to do is make all white

Much easier then, if you just need to give the driver a bung to mark it as red that he delivered ;)

doubt that'll happen ..... drivers are usually pretty straight ..... and'd leave themselves very exposed to HMRC pursuit

Conversation of the Loans came up yesterday with a friend who is gunning for one.

My gut feeling is I will be leaving them where they are.... rightly or wrongly. I'd be around the £20k mark if I took one, whilst 20k for 12 months FOC is a lovely thought simple fact is I think that next year is going to be very very bleak.
How wrong you were!

My intelligence has been forwarded apparently.

Somewhere, a DVSA operative acquired a positive IQ.
